Courses and introductions are held as a starting point from Aalborg Sailing Club, but can be moved to, for example, Nordens Kridtgrav (Hasseris Kridtgrav) if there is too much wind.

Sea Kayak Introduction

Description

If you want to see if sea kayaking is something for you, then a sea kayak introduction course is a good starting point. You will be introduced to the most basic techniques for forward drowning and become familiar with the basics of kayaking. 

Included in the price is the rental of sea kayak, wetsuit, neoprene shoes and life jacket, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment.

Sea Kayaking IPP2 Course (Beginner Course)

A beginner's course which is a good start to becoming a full-fledged sea kayaker. The IPP2 course includes a review of basic technical skills so that you can safely navigate your sea kayak and save yourself and your roommate.

The IPP2 course is admissible to most sea kayak clubs. Course certificates are issued after passing the course from the Danish Canoe and Kayak Association. The course is held over 2 days with 8 hours per. day. 

The course is suitable for those who want to row sea kayaks in their free time - both privately and in a club.

The IPP2 certificate is a requirement to become a member of the vast majority of kayak clubs. 

Sea Kayaking Instructor1 Course

Description of instructor1

This course focuses on becoming a good teacher of basic skills in sea kayaking. Teaching techniques and technical review of various roofs on water and land will be reviewed and practiced. 

In this course you will be dressed to teach others.
